I am featured in Karen Clark’s book, Social Media for Direct Selling Representatives: Ethical and Effective Online Marketing

I am pleased to have contributed an article about finding your voice in social media to Social Media for Direct Selling Representatives: Ethical and Effective Online Marketing (Volume 1) by Karen Clark.

This book is a fabulous how-to manual for those engaging in social selling. Whether you are involved in direct sales or network marketing, or even just in a home based business, this book has much to offer you. ┬áKaren Clark’s book takes you through the process from start to finish, including not only the nuts and bolts but also how to be engaging while being considerate of your audience.

The book is easy to read. Ms. Clark’s ideas are broken down into simple to understand concepts by chapter. The end of each chapter has a vignette from someone in the business. These vignettes are from those out there pounding the pavement in the real world of direct sales. Some of them are from other direct sales trainers like Deb Bixler. You get to see the concept introduced, and then someone demonstrates how that idea works in practice.

Karen and I met in the summer of 2015 at a conference held in Dallas, TX. We kept in touch and I thoroughly enjoy hearing her ideas. She stays at the forefront of what’s happening in social media for direct selling and makes what can seem like complicated ideas easy to use. I think she’s brilliant. I was thrilled Karen asked me to contribute a piece to her book, and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed being part of it.

While you are reading, you can find my article beginning on page 51. You’ll be able to read about what I call my “secret sauce!” In other words, awesome people + creativity + a variety of social media mouth pieces.

Social Media for Direct Selling Representatives is available on Amazon in both hard copy and Kindle editions.  The book also includes bonus materials online for you to expand upon what you find in the book.

In the interest of full disclosure- the links posted to Social Media for Direct Selling Representatives are Amazon Affiliates links. I will receive a small percentage of any sales paid to me by Amazon. There is no additional charge for you to purchase the book using an affiliate link. That’s one technique you can use to earn money online, and I’ll teach you how to do that too here on Social Biz Babes.

Thank you for taking a look at the book! It’s a great resource, and I believe you may find it to be a helpful resource to refer back to from time to time. Volume II, a book for leaders in direct sales, is coming soon!

To your great success!
